Flor: the Portuguese word for flower. Painted in cobalt blue on white, with bold, confident brushstrokes. Part of the Minho Sol & Lua collection, designed by Maribel in her small studio in the Minho, northern Portugal. The motif follows the visual language of the azulejo tradition for which Portugal is known: clear, graphic and timeless.

 

Maribel has lined the back with cork — itself a raw material harvested from the ancient oak trees of northern Portugal. Ready to use as a coaster, a trivet, or a small piece for your wall.

 

The collection is available as a complete set of 4 or as individual tiles.
