A beautiful jewelry set made from fish leather. Handmade, high quality, and with a truly exceptional story behind it: at Lake Turkana, Ira and James Ambani turn what was once a waste product of the local fishing trade into leather with real character.

After years of drought, the people of the Turkana region finally found a way to sustainably work the desert lake again. Ira Ambani had the idea, learned the leatherworking craft herself, and founded Ambani Fish Leather together with her husband James.

Today, the workshop employs around 20 people locally, giving them a real perspective. Every piece you buy goes straight back to that team.

This set comes in Chrysocolla, a dark turquoise, Ambani's signature color: Cut and wrapped from Ambani's newest collection, sewn entirely by hand. The grain and pattern of your pieces will always be one of a kind.
