“Mango Leaf” brings nature to life — and is indeed dyed using real mango leaves. These textiles carry a deep sense of history: tradition, craft and the hands behind them. In Northeastern Thailand, women’s weaving groups create our cotton scarves entirely by hand. From spinning the yarn to dyeing and weaving on traditional wooden looms, every step is handmade.

Not only the cotton, but also the colours are gifts from nature: dyed with plants, bark and leaves — mango, fang, pradu.

In the end, each scarf is a unique piece in two ways: handmade from start to finish, and also one-of-a-kind in terms of colour. As our partner Pla explains, “the shades vary depending on harvest, weather and season.” No colour can ever be repeated exactly.
